The torrent Evola (or Egola) is very small. Its size must not be misleading: it is capable of triggering a very strong violence, as in 1993.
Team SMARTARC during a reconnaissance in low Valdegola, found himself at the weir, near Molino d'Egola. This is a dam in the bed of the river, which forms a small basin in which the current flows more slowly making it more favorable fishing, and this is called a "weir". For those who want to get there, going in the direction of Molino La Serra d'Egola, as you'll reach the sign that marks the end of Molino, follow the embankment leading towards dell'Egola. There are also two very large trees.

reached the weir, we want to go the other way. Until very long ago, a few hundred meters from that point, there was a small wooden bridge, easily explored on foot or by bicycle. Now no longer exists, perhaps it was destroyed by the current or, more likely, demolished because it was unsafe. The fact is that if we want to go on the other side, or we make about 2 km, up to a Egola Bridge, or you have to wade.
And we wade through it.

Since its athletes, a little 'fear of falling into the water felt really, but armed of that courage and that Indiana Jones spirit that characterizes all of our adventures, we decide to "take the plunge."
